My daughter has asked me to make her a quilt using Jell Rolls. Do these need to be prewashed too? I have always pre washed my fabric yardage because I worry about color bleeding and shrinkage.

I like the look of the 1/8" seam. The rest of the quilting is done 1/4" apart, but that left a 1/2" space between the seams. To Heck with the rules! Sew on Baby!!

No, it is a regular quilt. I'm doing it as a "quilt as you go" quilt. Basically, it is blocks quilted, then I sew them together. I don't have room for a big frame, and in CA it's too hot for hoops...
