I agree - it's a great top! I think a first light border would be good. If you want more, maybe a curved shape border or if you want it larger, snail's trail or storm at sea block.

I bought some (not purple) in a quilt store years ago - the ends are sticky and they grab the bits of dust deep from around the bobbin case. Work well.

I make extra blocks when I teach at my club and these always end up being orphans. One day I'll getsmart and use the same fabrics every time! I use Eq8 to design everything. I love it.
