I used deli papers that I got at a food service store. You get about 500 sheets for about $10.00. It's easy to remove. I bought mine about 5 years ago and still have plenty left.

The outer border is based on a chevron with a 2 1/2 inch half square triangle at the bottom. I think you can still get the pattern on the Quiltmaker magazine site.

Thank you. Yes I do plan on doing the new mystery by Bonnie. It's based on the colors in the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. Since I'm from Michigan it would be wrong not to.
