    Mermaid Quilt

    Mermaid Quilt I made for my bestie. Finished it just in time for her to take to cemo. She decided when she is done with her treatments she wants it bedazzled. We have set it as one of her goals.

    I never pre-wash. However I just finished a quilt and washed it to get the "look" and also wash away the marking lines. The fabric changed colors. So perhaps pre-washing is a good idea.

    That is a really fantastic quilt. I don't think any design will take away from the effect. But if you have leftover pieces why not make a sample to try out some options.
