The wilcox and gibbs is a good and interesting little machine. Almost any toy machine is chainstitch. So is the Singer 24.

I hate it when people butcher up sewing machines. They take a machine that at least would be useful for parts but probably works fine. Around here I see these awful things where they take the bed off...
