The wilcox and gibbs is a good and interesting little machine. Almost any toy machine is chainstitch. So is the Singer 24.

She is pretty, but the decals on the base are kinda rough. I am pretty sure that it is an electric conversion. The motor isn't adjustable in position so there is a spring loaded arm putting tension...

I hate it when people butcher up sewing machines. They take a machine that at least would be useful for parts but probably works fine. Around here I see these awful things where they take the bed off...

We used to have one until the computer went bonkers. The people in the shop said it was because of the magnetic pin catcher and lamp that where on it.
