The stitches do Not unravel! Each stitch is locked. The back of the quilt does not look the same as the front. I'm very glad I purchased my Sashiko II.

If you buy a Baby Lock Sashiko machine, make sure you get the Sashiko II. There must have been some problems with the first edition for Baby Lock to have put out a second generation of the machine...
