I buy 95% of my fabric at Walmart & have wonderful success with the color & it holding up well with the everyday wear & tear since I use mine everyday & wash often no complaints only Kudos by the way...

Have you tried stretching it on the bias like you would to square up a full cut of material. We learned that in a home ec class years ago after it has been torn on the straight of material.
