I would consider mounting on a wall at an angle...

I would consider mounting on a wall at an angle so you would have square storage areas for the most part. Does that make sense? I know what I'm trying to say, but not sure anyone else will understand.

Long Arm thread storage

Wife got tired of using drawers for thread cone storage.
I made this for her. The pull out storage is mounted with ball bearing slides.

This is what I made. Made the frame for the ironing center from some white oak I had left over from a project. The drawers and upper cabinet are made of trim boards from my son's farm house remodel.

No flange, but, the flat part of the magnet attaches to the ridges of the groove and sits perfect for aligning the needle.

Jan, (SWMBO) also has tons of bobbins, the majority of which are partially filled and in another storage container.

I forgot to mention I welded the bundle of wires at the top where the wires branches off and at the bottom of the wires, drilled a hole in the RR spike and put the wire bundle through it. Don't know...

Bobbin Tree

Made this bobbin storage for empty bobbins out of a railroad spike and some heavy duty wire. There are 56 bobbins on it and there is a lot of space for more. I mounted it above the stand alone bobbin...
