    nooooooooo you'll enjoy it! you have more control over sewing seams. my blocks actually look better than machine sewing. your finished project, make a small one, will be as good as the preparation....

    OMG!!!!!!!!! i do the same thing!! i do it at home by putting the pile out on my deck and i'm sewing when headed out for a camping trip,i let the thread fly out the window. i call it 'birdie string'....

    geeeeeesh!! relax, that's what quilting is all about. so you have trouble getting back to a project. set it aside for however long and you'll soon notice that the UFO will start calling you to work...

    i sew so much that i hardly think of how much time. i'd guess 24/7. a lot. I do 7 BOM'S a month and whatever else strikes me. topper
