Does anyone have information on missing embossing on a drawer of a singer #5 or #6 treadle machine cabinet? How to repair it or someone who could. No pictures will post when I have them

I learned by error, I read that WD40 would clean machines so I tried it on my Sphynx and it does silver the decals. So, I am back to machine oil, it cleans and doesn't silver decals.
