Use your scraps? There are sooo many patterns using strips (I like stripping the strips instead of cutting). There is a block swap using the Ladder Block with black strip in middle & scraps on side....

I found pattern on "Marie's Scrappy Creations" on FB. She even show cased a scrappy quilt block that I sent her in a Ladder Block swap... Pic in #12....

I have an imac 5 & had good luck downloading. Had my NV2800D for about 2 ½ yrs & just use designs on machine & downloaded lots onto usbs. I do have Embrillance Enthusiast, Essentials & Thumbnailer...
