I got a package with several in it from my local artist's supply store. However, I find that it isn't necessary as I can get a perfectly fine line of glue just with the regular tip.

I always use Gutterman on my Janome, which I buy in giant reels--black, off white and white--and use to sew everything. It gives me far less trouble than any other brand.

Are you using the walking foot with the feed dogs dropped? It could be that the quilt sandwich isn't feeding properly. Make sure the dogs are up.
