Janome MC6300 Professional Sewing Machine

Is there anyone that owns this machine? It's on sale for $999.99 at a few place this month. I was thinking of getting it. Is there a better choice out there? I am upgrading.

Tartan, The backing is cotton fabric with a very small texture to it. I think your suggestion will work best for this quilt. Thanks
