Thanks! I haven't used this type of bobbin for a very long time (I have had drop in bobbins) and I knew that I had to be doing something wrong :)

Ok all, I received the foot pedal for the machine and the machine works! I am, however, having an issue putting the bobbin and and having it STAY IN PLACE.....any hints?

Peckish, I took a leap of faith and purchased the PQ1500s! It did not have a foot pedal and so I am not certain that it sews but it turns on with the power cord and I bought it from our local quilt...
