I have found the shops out here in...
I have found the shops out here in Oakland/Berkeley to be very friendly. You might pop in to New Pieces or Bay Quilts.

Well, about my top... I did not realize washing the unquilted top in the washer would create a thread disaster on the back. Big, big mess. Now I know never to do that again!!!

Good news! I washed my RWB top with 2 color catchers. It is perfect. All whites, nice & bright. Bleeding removed.
