I have try both shuttle and needle..needle is so much easier to me..I got my supplies from Annie's Attic catalog..it comes with a step by step book..needle..etc..I enjoy the feel of the needle..sort...

I have made many hex quilts..I have tie one..because to do that takes away all the pattern of the hexs..it isn't hard to quilt them on a machine..on one I made loops in the hex...just like they do...
