Use small pieces as packing for dishes and glassware. It really saves room. And not all the paper to be tossed or recycled. A lot less mess. Just refold the fabric and you are done. :

Have had success with baking soda dry.. Rub it in...
Have had success with baking soda dry.. Rub it in and let it set. Then shake the baking soda off. Sometimes it takes a second rubbing in to get it all.
