I didn't see it at first. Once I did, it really stood out. I would change it. Maybe use solid red & green for the sides and leave the plaid at the top & bottom (if you want to keep the plaid.)

I was using a kitchen table chair and then a folding chair for years. Just bought a Horn chair last month - LQS had a sale. It was the best buy I could make. Love it. Sewing is much more comfortable....
