Has any one used an electric material cutter? Does it cut straight? what kind do you use? I had a shoulder operation and I cannot cut my fabric,and I am making a quilt for a wedding shower.

I was wondering if any one can help me learn how Quilt as you go?
I am getting ready to put a Queen size Quilt together and I was hoping to do the batting and backing at the same time in strips.
