I save them to tie up my homemade "jelly rolls" I cut from remnants or leftovers from quilts. I use my Accuquilt cutter to cut 2 1/2" strips, roll them and tie for future projects.

Ohhhhh!!! You're gonna love it! I've been cutting up scrap fabrics all afternoon with mine--rectangles, circles, hexagons, squares and strips. Will be fun to put them together into scrappy projects.
