Hi My default tension is 4.6 but when FMQ I lower...
Hi My default tension is 4.6 but when FMQ I lower it to 1.8, i then get lovely stitch definition.
I would play around with your top tension first. I have never altered my bobbin tension.

I have a Pfaff 4.2 and I love it. Stitch quality is excellent, it will stitch thru multiple layers with no problem. FMQ is a joy.
I cannot fault this machine. If you are a dressmaker as well it sews...
