I made the top. Sent it to a friend who top stitched it for me on her long arm. Once it was returned I then sewed the binding.

Can anyone post comments as to the value of this 1953 Singer sewing machine. All it does is sew back and frontwards. It seems like a jewel and is in excellent condition.

My first mystery quilt
I made this mystery quilt for the guild I belong to. The theme was "Civil War" and we were to use our scrappy fabric along with the blue fabric that came with the directions. Thanks for looking.

Many thanks for all your responses. You have been a great help. When I made the yellow star pattern I marked mine 3". and made a lap quilt. Then I lost the pattern. It is a fun way to use up scraps.
