They make great gifts and are easy to make. Using scraps of fabric and they can be mailed easily in an envelope along with a card.

Its called Santa Fe trail by Robert Kaufman. Some of the materials are different and hard to find. It was originally Horses and I changed to the Cowboys.

Walmart has some really good prices on their fabrics. Watch for sales on-line sometimes you can get a yard for 3 or 4 dollars. Go to fabrics.com. if you get coupons from JoAnns you can get 40% off...

I read somewhere to use some rubber cement on the back side of your ruler and it will hold it steady for you while you cut. I'm going to try that, when get to the store and buy some rubber cement....
