Great Pic!
I've seen you on WBF, my screen name there is pretty similar to here, and I've been discussing sewing machines there lately.

I like Kroil best, and time will help any penetrating oil. Days or weeks. You might try dropping the whole machine in a bucket of diesel and let it soak. Ironically, boiling can also remove rust....

Loeser #3 Treadle

I saw this machine at a tag sale, it works. I didn't buy it, I can't use it, and I need the space for working machines. It is very cool though, it uses a shuttle instead of a bobbin. Loeser was a...

Very interesting, thank you all.
I've always like precision machines, especially smaller simpler ones. Wind up watches, sewing machines and semi automatic weapons. As a Coast Guardsman and a police...

Thanks Steel.
I'm in a position where I can pay big bucks for someone else to do the work, or do it myself with what I have. I was quoted $1900 for the three covers I needed for the boat. I'm doing...

Hi, I'm John on Long Island. I'll confess right up front that I don't quilt, but I do sew.
I owned three older machines, two Pfaffs, a 230 and 332, and a Stradivaro Precision Deluxe, which is a...
