it actually works just fine doing it by rows as the picture shows.
i was in a panick at first but once i started sewing it's working out wonderful and kinda easy.

i don't have a picture but it's in the quilt magazine. it's not the icecream cone but i think it's made from that concept it's just the cone no top. i got the pattern and template. and like an idjit...
