    I cut my log cabin strips using the accuquilt go 1 1/2 " strip die. I did not need to trim. The blocks came out precise. Check out this YouTube tute.

    Thank you all so very much for your kind comments - or like we say in Hawaii, MAHALO! It's a keeper. I made it for my DH, I have three sons who are in line for the next one :-D

    I started with the panel and the log cabin...

    I started with the panel and the log cabin border. The rest I figured out as I went along. I don't think I would attempt it without a design wall. I figured out math is not my strong point. :roll:

    This is a queen size quilt shown on a king size bed. Not a very good shot of the whole quilt, several pictures are attached to show the blocks better. I've been collecting the fabric for some time....
