She normally puts out patterns around the 15thish. Be patient she doesn't end her patterns at the end of the month like most do, so it is easy to catch up

If you are not paper piecing the sawtooth borders...
If you are not paper piecing the sawtooth borders then 4 yards of blue should be good. If you are paper piecing then buy a little more. The requirement for white background fabric is 4.5 yards.

I would suggest the library or Cultural Center if You have one. They are good sources for quilting books very cheaply. The library lets you keep them for 3 weeks. Most libraries now have a used book...
