Ok, Thank you very much for the advice , prewash and use a heaver needle . Im also using cotton quilting machine thread I baught at Walmart. I just hope it is strong enough to last many years🙂

Up and runing good

I ordered all the parts that I needed for my Elgin 2468 and I replaced bobbin winder ring, bobbin case and shuttle and got my tension set . It's running beautiful now and I want to thank everybody...

Elgin 2468 serial 511917

Really need help finding a tension knob or check spring for this machine I really want to restore it and I'm willing to pay for good parts. My check spring is broke .If anybody can help please help....
