You didn't say if you were quilting or piecing. That weight thread wouldn't normally be used for piecing quilting cotton, but quilting with it is okay. You didn't say how the tension was either....

Very simply a scant 1/4" is necessary for rotary cut projects so all the pieces fit together as they should. That means no fudging, easing or lost points. A scant 1/4" is merely 1 or 2 THREADS...

I NEVER limit myself to fabric from one collection or one designer in a quilt. You might want to stick to country creams or tans characteristic of Thimbleberries. There are LOTs available.
