    Is there a way to turn off/disengage the securing button on my Bernina 830 completely so it won't knot at the beginning nor the end? Right now it secures at the end when I use the auto thread...

    Thank you, Watson! I've spent a lot of time reading posts and watching videos and then doing test runs on the 830. I think I'm beginning to settle in with it (and that's a very good thing!).
