Well... Tonight I just learned this lesson the hard way and I'm having to start over and build the quilt top again from scratch. I might stop crying by the end of the week....lol

Hi Janey, Yes, I checked and double checked. The needle has the "long groove" in the front towards me and the "scarf" is facing the rear of the machine. I used the needle magnet to verify.
