I couldn't find any gears for sale. So I was thinking of having one made. Would need to pay for the design and part. Would be cheaper if I had the design but I'm no good in 3d cad

One thing they mentioned is the band being to tight I'd like to try a band a size up but I don't understand anything when it comes to sizing a belt. This one is a Power Grip 120xL025

I just got this sewing machine for $6 it has a broken gear. I can get one made up and 3d printed for $40. Does that sound like a good thing to do?
