Yes, with a dealer you may be able to get a warranty, but from Craigs list or an individual, the sewing machine most likely will be as is.Buyer beware.....

The problem with buying on line is no warranty. Even if it looks like a great deal, machines are sold as is and you can end up with problems.The Brother dealer I used to work for would take trade ins...
