    Yes, I’ll probably look for a cute panel, add some borders, and hope for the best! Like you said, when she’s older she may appreciate a fancier quilt. Thanks for your suggestions!

    Yes, great idea! I’m concerned about putting a lot of money into something she might not cherish the way I cherish my grandma’s quilts. She can be rather careless.

    I doubt she’d let me cut up her T-shirts!! I’ve made them in the past, and they are a lot of work. Will they stand up to washings and abuse?

    Quilt for an active teen

    Hi, y’all! I’d like to make a graduation quilt for our step-granddaughter. I doubt she’ll take good care of it, based on the state of her bedroom! Any ideas for fabric choices that will wash up well...
