Not sure what you mean by keeping it from pausing - but once you get it started with the hand wheel (your feet will be resting where you want them on the pedal as you do that) and immediately pick up...

All I can say is WOW! To think that I gave away a machine and cabinet just like that a couple months ago, the decals were not near as nice though. Oh well, it is being used on a regular basis now...

Your machine is older than mine as my patent dates run from Jan 18.87 through May 26.96. The pictures look exactly like mine except mine has a spring belt. There are no markings on the bobbin case....

Even with the finger off a 15 case isn't going to fit. It is a hair too big to go in the shuttle. There is also an opening on the Standard case where it is held in that is not on the 15 case. Sorry...

If I were looking for heavy duty I'd be looking at the older Singers or something along that line. A lot of the inexpensive newer machines are not what I would call heavy duty.

How about a nice border around the embroidery instead of sewing a top and bottom on it. Make everyone think that is the way you planned it. Beautiful job on the embroidery.
