Even with the finger off a 15 case isn't going to fit. It is a hair too big to go in the shuttle. There is also an opening on the Standard case where it is held in that is not on the 15 case. Sorry...

If I were looking for heavy duty I'd be looking at the older Singers or something along that line. A lot of the inexpensive newer machines are not what I would call heavy duty.
