    I cleaned and oiled up the Viking Designer ( Borletti ).
    I sewed a straight line on an old face cloth and the machine works great!
    Still having fun.

    Need to fix some wires on the machine.
    I replaced the lamp light wire.
    Unfortunately this machine came with a singer foot pedal which needs it's power cord changed also.
    I found that on Amazon.ca...

    I will need to replace the lamp cord on the machine. it has rotted and exposing wire near the light.
    I guess local hardware store will do for that.
    Will need to grease and lubricate parts also....

    Well it seems my Viking Designer is a retagged Borletti for Canadian market back in the day.
    Very hard to get a Manual for it.

    I have one of those and looking for the manual. Mine says ZZ18591.it is in a nice table. I posted a picture off it.
    Any way of getting a copy of the manual?

    made in Italy.
    The motor is a Westinghouse.

    I have this green Viking Designer. tagged National Sewing Machine model 70. it is stamped ZZ 18591 on it.
    I can't seem to find any information on it any where.
