i like hobbs 80/20 i use it all thev time its a bit thiner than warm and natural but you cant realy tell when it getts in the quilt and the price at connecting threads is realy good.

it is for me but if you think you have the patiance and control to learn without the regulator go for it. its alot of work just learning to move the machine smoothly without having to worry about...

make sure the thread is going into the proper side of the needle i had that problem with a machine i had. if the needle threads from left to right or right to left instead of front to back.

bunching is probly from your batting if your using a batting that has wool or cotton it will shrink a bit i personaly like the crinkled look but if you dont i would use only straigh polyester...
