It's the 10 minute block with a twist. four 10"...

It's the 10 minute block with a twist. four 10" squares and in stead of a 10" in the center, I used a 7". 4 -5" with a 4" center.

Finally quilted, 10 minute throw.

My best effort at quilting yet. Really liked the combination of large and small blocks.
Note: The size of the centers are smaller than the other 4 squares that make up the blocks.

EQ6 and Foundation or paper piecing

I designed an asymmetrical block and printed and pieced it. It was backward. I guess you have to ask for 'mirror image'
(in options) to make it come out right. Funny I haven't seen this mentioned...

I would applique the blocks first and quilt around the applique. You may add quilting within the applique if they are large or need more detail.
