I don't see any reason you can't make your own frosting...the purpose of the frosting is to hold the cake crumbs together.

Free motion quilting with a star an loop design would really tie it all together.

My friend (retired home ec teacher) uses the over ripe bananas....like the really black ones and swears they are the best to use.
Instead of throwing the over ripe bananas away the next time I think...

Do you embroider the design and then cut the strip of fabric or make the pillowcases first and then do the embroidery?
