This is not an ugly quilt, it is beautiful. It needs nothing changed, the dark pink is the bling and it brings out the lighter pink. Quilt it and it will be lovely.

Does anyone have a problem with thread clinging to fingers when trying to snip it off. I have very dry hand and I keep lotion on them, but still have this problem with static cling with all threads.

Janome has a built-in stitch called the sculpture...
Janome has a built-in stitch called the sculpture stitch which you can use monofilament in the bobbin and the color of your choice on top and it looks a great deal like hand quilting.
