I've been thinking about upgrading from my boring Kenmore 385.17324 (not very many stitch options).
I've found a Singer Quantum 9960 new in box for $400 and a Janome Skyline S5 new in box for $800....

@Tartan - yes, that was how she suggested doing...

@Tartan - yes, that was how she suggested doing it but I don't like duvets so I used the comforter as my batting and sewed the top and back right to it.
