The current owner says she has owned it for 8 years. She has had it maintained and tuned up every year. Claims she's never had a problem and it is still in excellent condition. She is upgrading

My SIL gave me a b-day present in a mason jar....8 fat quarters for a quilt. Only problem....I NEED a pattern. I'm not enough of a quilter to think of something on my own.

I read somewhere that the Amish (I think) would intentionally make a mistake in their quilts to keep them original....that mentality makes ALL my quilts originals ;)

no we were not affected by the storm. Just had wind/rain for a day. Didn't even lose power which is strange...

I've tried my hand at quilting a few times over the years, but have recently been bit by the quilting bug...it helps that I have more time now that I have only one child left at home.
