I used a few selvages to hold tomato plants up...
I used a few selvages to hold tomato plants up sometimes. Otherwise, I give them to a quilting friend who is making that very purse you talked about. I usually throw them out.

Hi, I use half of a wooden clothes pin, without the spring, for finger pressing. Some times my fingers don't have much strength...arthritis vs. clothes pin, and it works very good.
