Well maybe the Chicago antique dealer was a bit pricey but I *heart* those #42 cabinets. I've only ever seen one for sale in my neck of the woods.

I think that's a 319 in which case it uses non-standard needles, 206 x 13. It's low shank and uses discs for more deco stitches. Make sure the bobbin case isn't damaged from people using the wrong...

It sounds like a 404 which is straight stitch only. The 401 has internal cams for zig zag and the 403 needs cams for anything other than straight stitch.
