    If you don't want to draw a line, just fold the block in half and either fingerpress or press. Then, sew 1/4" on each side of the fold line, cut along the fold line and press open.

    A lot of kids love orange (my grandson is one). If you want to really make this quilt pop, appliques a flower or a yellow rubber duck in one of the corners. Very nice.

    There are 2 WalMarts near me. The closest one has tons of pre-cuts and pre-packaged yardage. The 2nd one still has fabric on the bolts and a great selection too!
