I have the Singer Futura which does both sewing and embroidery. Have had it for 3 years or so and use both functions frequently. It can use most designs out there so isn't setup to only use it's own....

I put both hooks and loop together, roll it, smush it flat and put a ribbon or rubber band around it and store in a small storage box with other fastener items.

I machine sew my quilts including the bindings. Sometimes I tie a large quilt but IF it is quilted, it is done on the machine. I was taught to sew neatly but I don't enjoy it so I don't do it....

I made a "Summer in the Park" quilt using the MSQ method out of red, white, and red plaid fabrics. I read a post on here about bleeding fabric recently and knew red was a color that is problematic....
