I was at a guild meeting and saw someone's show...

I was at a guild meeting and saw someone's show and tell put down. It came after lots of "WOW" quilts and a person helping made a hurtful comment. ouch....

How high is your cutting station? I like to cut at my kitchen counter, it's a little lower than my waist. That way you can lean on the length of the long rulers and support them with your lower arm...

If it is on the fusible batting and comes off easily I'd treat the whole thing like a design wall and remove the pieces and sew them together. You could use some chain sewing. Quilt in a Day uses...
