LOL close, I am Scottish (well my heritage is Scottish). This one turns out really gorgeous when the fabrics are of high contrast. White and Green would be gorgeous, I should think.

If I could just quit procrastinating on the thing and get it started. I chose my fabric, got it all pre-washed and pressed and now there it sits....just begging to be cut and sewn together :)

Thanks..I just love the way it goes together. It's the one I decided on for my first grand baby's quilt. I tested it out first and made a small 36"x36" version...That test has become my chihuahua's...

I like the colors. I think the sashing would look better if it pulled one of the more subtle colors from the quilt. But really lovely.

At least that's what I call it. As far as I know, it is an original pattern, as it is a modification of another pattern. Either way, it does make a beautiful quilt and very easy to make.
