Asheville, NC quilt shops

I will be going to Asheville, NC in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if there are any good quilts shops to see. Can anyone give suggestions on a local motel (moderate price).

What I did this summer

This is a couple of quilts I made this summer. The first I call My Summer Sanity and the second is Let's Play.
The second quilt was for my new grandson born June 21, 2012.

Really beautiful quilt. I grew up in Lexington. Went to Lexington Senior High and graduated in 1973. What high school did you attend? I have lived near Hickory for the past 32 years.

I made a 1930's quilt for my daughter with the Tucker Trimmer. Very easy to work with and great instructions. I purchased last year at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show.
