Thanks for the reply. I have not priced this yet, but it should be less expensive than getting a whole new sewing machine combo. I hope your sister likes hers. (What is her first embroidery machine?)

Thanks Cheryl. I think that is probably what is happening the opening is slightly off. Too bad I'm getting old and can't really see what is happening at the eye of the needle even with a magnifier...
